The UK is committed to reaching net zero by 2050. This means that the total greenhouse gas emissions would be equal to the emissions removed from the atmosphere, with the aim of limiting global warming and resultant climate change. Developers and investors are acutely aware of the need to deliver net zero carbon buildings and it is imperative that all new and existing buildings are fit for purpose.

WEPCo (Welsh Education Partnership) is a joint venture between the Welsh Government via the Development Bank of Wales, and private sector delivery partner Meridiam Investments. We are currently working in collaboration with our construction delivery partner Morgan Sindall building new schools in Wales, together we are targeting the development of net zero carbon projects built utilising low embodied carbon material.
